At the opening ceremony, Zheng Hongyu, Chairman of the CIBF2025 Organizing Committee and Chairman of the China Chemical and Physical Power Industry Association, stated that it is currently a crucial period for China's economy to transition towards high-quality development and for the new energy industry to enter a period of comprehensive deepening reform. 2025, as a key turning point for China's new energy industry from "scale expansion" to "quality leap", is showing strong development momentum. The production of the "new three types" of new energy vehicles, lithium-ion power batteries, and solar cells increased by 45.4%, 39.2%, and 18.5% respectively year-on-year, becoming an important support for stable growth. In the first quarter of 2025, the newly installed capacity of renewable energy in China reached 76.75 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 21%, accounting for about 90% of the newly installed capacity, marking a new stage in China's energy structure adjustment.
